5 Week Group Classes

Basic Obedience
November 10th, 12pm
For dogs over 6 months old. This class will cover everything your dog needs to be the best they can be. Sit, down, stay, loose leash walking, recall, and more!
Puppy Kindergarten
November 13th, 7pm
Bring your new puppy to Barley’s to start them off on the right paw! Based on the AKC Puppy Star course, this 5 week-long class provides a whole lot of play time and socialization, with a little bit of training too. Puppies from 2-6 months of age are welcome to come, socialize, and learn how to play with other dogs under the supervision of our trainers!
1 Hour Workshops
$30 per session (or buy 4 sessions and pay $25 per workshop)
Nose Work
November 14th, 7pm
Come join us for this course designed to introduce Nose work, a new and increasingly popular sport in the canine community. The beauty of nose work is that dogs of any age and personality can participate and they all can benefit from nose work. Become more connected and learn how they “see” the world through their number one sense, smell! Combining training with fun and games, you will learn how to show your dog to track specific odors in varying difficulty and location, building on their natural instincts and teaching them that using their nose is fun.
House Manners 101
November 17th, 3pm
Learn the fine art of teaching your dog to mind their manners in this new 1-hour workshop. We’ll go over some of the most frustrating doggy no-no’s, such as: begging, barking, jumping on guests, and barging through doorways. Friends and neighbors will never dread visiting your home or saying hello to you on a walk, because your dog will know how to be a GOOD boy or girl!
Polite Greetings
November 21st, 7pm
Join us to learn some tricks to help your dog become a great greeter when people come over, and get some help to stop door rushing, jumping on guests and crowding the door.
Loose-Leash Walking
November 17th, 1pm
Learn the tricks of the trade to help your dog walk more politely on leash! In our one hour Loose-Leash Walking Workshop, you will explore different “power steering” options that work for your dog and leave with a better loose-leash walker!
