Basic Obedience w/Into to CGC $150
Prerequisite: dogs must be at least one year old or 8-12 months with a previous puppy class is ok too.
Join us at Barley’s for this 5 week course on Basic Obedience for you and your dog. We’ll cover the basics of obedience training such as Sit, Down, Come, Focus and Loose Leash walking, as well as ways to trouble shoot problem behaviors. We will also introduce Canine Good Citizen prep work to get your dog started with polite public behavior, in any situation.
All you need is your dog, standard leash, collar or harness, and lots of high value treats!
November 9th @ 3pm-4pm
Canine Connection $125
Prerequisite: dogs must be at least 8 months old and up
Canine Connection is a 4 week course for those who’d like to strengthen their overall bond with their dogs. Beyond learning basic obedience, we’ll work on building up communication and leadership skills through the use of interactive games and drive-based training techniques. You’ll learn how to better understand your dog, how they speak to us, and how this helps with behavior and training.
We will cover behaviors such as calming and release cues, focus, recall, name recognition, the importance of games, drive, and more!

AKC STAR Puppy Course $150
Calling all PUPPIES!!
Bring your pup to Barley’s for this 5 week training course designed to teach your puppy basic obedience skills, manners and socialization in a fun, interactive training style. This class is modeled after AKC’s Star Puppy Training course, focusing on socialization as a main component of training for good manners in every environment!
This class is best suited for puppies 5-12 months of age, with current vaccinations, including Rabies.
November 10th @ 4pm-5pm
Leash Manners Group Training Course $125
Join us at Barley’s for this 4 week training course designed to show you and your dog how to “mind your manners” from both ends of the leash!
If it seems like you spend more time in a game of tug-a-war than walking calmly with your best friend, this is the class for you. We’ll cover training techniques that will boost your leadership skills, improve your dog’s focus and show them how to walk politely with you – no more tugging contests!
You will need a standard 6 ft leash and collar (or harness) and lots of high value training treats.
